Avishai Raviv Trial Postponed AgainWhile Margalit Har-Shefi prepares to enter prison in less than a month for failing to prevent the assassination of Yitzchak Rabin, the trial of Avishai Raviv on similar charges has again been postponed. The original indictment was handed down in April 1999, almost two years ago - yet the trial has not yet begun. Arutz-7's Adir Zik reports that although the trial was scheduled to begin Feb 27, 2000, behind closed doors, it has been postponed once again, for reasons that were not explained. Many feel that Raviv should have been charged not only with not preventing the killing of the Prime Minister, but also with encouraging it. |
